Born in the Chivu family with the name Elina, married to Costea Lambru, the son of the first mayor of Magureni she was the mother of three children, two girls and a boy, and also the great grandmother which had been with us for the moast years. Every time you’d cross her threshold she would sit you down at the table and she’d start telling you how she cooked the meal she was serving you and how she improved the recipe she had from her mother. She was a true lady that never worked nor let her daughters work the land, and only went in the fields to bring food and water for the workers.
As we remember, Maica Lina was sometimes quarrelsome and maybe more severe than the situation implied.
