The Tresure’s Ravine

It is the most representative area for Satul Banului because it was the main source of limestone  of the villagers. Because of this, people were known as “lime/chalk makers”. The Tresure’s Ravine is one of the most visited panoramas and can offer a perspective to the Bucegi Mountains, to the Heroes Cross on Caraiman peak, to the Baiului mountains and to the upper part of the Provita Valley. The route is on already existing paths, medium difficulty level, does not present risk factors (slip, precipice etc). It can also be a bicycle route, for the trained – experienced, it is at 627 m altitude.
