One of the oldest occupations of the people of Satul Banului was the production of limestone powder. Thus, from the marketing of calcium oxide, they managed to build their beautiful households. Unfortunately, easily, especially after 1989, this occupation has disappeared. We can still find 3-4 traditional lime kilns that we can visit either in a hiking or with a 4×4 car.
