It seems that Nicolae Iorga was very attracted to the hills of Prahova, that's why two of his houses are in Prahova, one in Sinaia and one in Valeni de Munte.

Valeni de Munte has founded and financially supported a rural school.

We recommend a visit the house of the great Nicolae Iorga at Valeni de Munte and his office where he wrote over one thousand books, but especially  the wide verandah  with wooden columns, where he recived his guests.
