The Grandma from the valley, named Maria Sichim, was born in 1927 in the Lambru family. She was the most honest person we have ever known. She was the one you were seeking for pertinent and balanced advice, when passing through hard moments in life.

She was sometimes severe and harsh, because she was raised in the interwar period, when the principle of life was “suffering educates you”. She was proud of her ancient roots.
